Martin Doors are made of recycled materials, and are easily recyclable.
Every single component of the door has a recycling element to it. For example:
approximately 33 percent of the metal that makes up Martin Door hardware comes from recycled material.
all metals used to make a Martin Door, i.e., steel, copper or aluminum, are recyclable.
about 90 to 95 percent of the copper in Martin copper garage doors is made of recycled copper.
a large portion of the metal used in a steel Martin Door section is made of recycled material.
around 15 percent of the polystyrene (EPS) component used to insulate Martin Doors, is from re-ground materials.
about 60 percent of the material in Martin's designer window or vista frames is a recycled substance.
More importantly, the material left after the frame is made, is sent back to the manufacturer, they re-grind it, then send the ABS plastic sheets back to Martin to be used to form new window frames. In essence the material is used over and over and over again in the Martin Door process.
Martin garage door sections are made of recycled steel and copper. The aluminum in Martin extruded aluminum doors is not made of recycled product, because of issues the supplier has in the purity of the product, but the door is easily recycled.
